Some people are under the false perception that there are three million illegal immigrants here in the US who have drivers licenses and thus, they were able to vote in the last presidential elections of 2016. Maybe their beliefs aren't far from the truth.
According to Uber, it does an extensive background check on each of its drivers in order to rule out criminals such as sex offenders and other violent criminals. Yet, Alfonso Alarcon-Nunez, 39, who faces ten criminal charges, that include forcible rape and other violent offenses, was driving Uber passengers.
Therefore, Uber did not do its job well enough to stop such a bad person from getting behind its wheels and driving potential victims around until he made them actual victims. Those women thought since they used an app to call for a ride -because three of them were intoxicated- they were safe. 'As for the other women - this news article did not say why Nunez targeted them'. They did mention how he used aliases and hidden pay methods as to not bring attention to his true identity. In other words, he (Nunez) thought he had a fail-safe criminal career.
The title of this article suggest that Alfonso was charged for raping four women, but if you read the article, it states that he has 10 criminal charges pending against him. He sought out many of his victims at night clubs. What a sick demented person; if we could call him a person and not an animal for what he's done to those poor women.
There are illegal immigrants using stolen social security numbers, maybe that's what Nunez did in order to get a driver's license, but 541,000 (a little over half a million) of them were issued real SSN to use for school (See DACA below:), work, and filing taxes. DACA is for illegal immigrant children who were brought to the US before age 10. Read about that here: https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2015/apr/15/obama-amnesty-granted-more-500k-ssn/.
* Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA)
* This is DACA and how to get a social security number.
One thing that seems obvious to me, Nunez wasn't a student nor was he a part of the DACA program.
How do I register to vote?
To register to vote you must complete a voter registration application on paper or online at RegisterToVote.ca.gov. When you register online, the system will search the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) database for your California driver license or identification card number, date of birth, and last four digits of your social security number. If your information is found and you authorize elections officials' use of your DMV signature, an electronic image of your DMV signature will be added to your voter registration application after you click "submit" at the end of the online application. If there is no signature on file with DMV, all of your information will be transmitted to your county elections office; you will just need to click "print," sign the paper application, and mail it. Your county elections official will contact you when your voter registration application is approved or if more information is needed to confirm your eligibility.
Another thing, this man(?) just made the case for DACA 'Dreamers' as they're affectionately called, just that much harder to rectify and keep them here in the US. This is so because although they're following the laws, they're taking the blame for the illegal actions of their parents and criminals from the country of origin. And, that's so sad to me...
